Since receiving her Anthony Quinn Foundation Dance Scholarship in 2025, Jordyn Sarmoen has celebrated a series of remarkable accomplishments that have marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter in her artistic journey.

This fall, Jordyn will join The Juilliard School to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. I am incredibly humbled to announce my acceptance and commitment to The Juilliard School for a BFA in Dance."

In addition to her acceptance to Juilliard, Jordyn was named a 2026 YoungArts Winner with Distinction in Modern/Contemporary Dance, one of the nation's highest honors for emerging artists. She also had the opportunity to attend National YoungArts Week, where she joined fellow young performers from across the country in an immersive week of masterclasses, mentorship, and performances. Reflecting on the recognition, Jordyn shared, "I am so honored and grateful to have been named a 2026 YoungArts Winner with Distinction in Modern/Contemporary Dance."

Her impressive year also included being named the NYCDA National Senior Outstanding Dancer, a prestigious distinction recognizing exceptional artistry and achievement. Looking back on the experience, she wrote, "This is something I have been dreaming of for years! This week was nothing short of amazing—being surrounded by so many talented dancers and artists was so inspiring!"

As she prepares to begin her studies at Juilliard, Jordyn continues to demonstrate the talent, dedication, and artistry that have distinguished her throughout her training.
