About the Program
Anthony Quinn Foundation Fellowship
The Anthony Quinn Foundation Fellowship was established to provide continued creative and financial support to a previous recipient of the Anthony Quinn Foundation (AQF) Scholarship. The goal of the AQF Fellowship is to give the recipient financial support so they can pursue their artistic work and achieve specific creative and career goals.
Timeline
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year. (Deadline to apply for 2023 Award is December 4, 2022.) One Fellowship will be awarded in each calendar year and the recipient will be announced prior to December 31st of the same year.
Review Process
Judging panel will be made up of members of the AQF Board of Trustees in conjunction with an advisory panel made up of professional artists independent of the Foundation's Board.
Award Amount
$5,000 to one recipient
Eligibility
In order to qualify for the Anthony Quinn Foundation Fellowship, the applicant must meet ALL of the following criteria:
Must be a past recipient of the Anthony Quinn Foundation Scholarship.
Must have completed High School + at least one year of further education or professional training.
Must be involved in the arts since they received the Foundation scholarship.
Must be the primary creative or performing artist for the proposed project. The supported project must represent the work of the applicant as an individual visual, performing, literary or media artist, and not work produced or presented as part of a group or duo.
You may not apply if you have already received a Fellowship from the Foundation.
