Paloma Chaprnka at Aspen Music Festival And School

For Paloma Chaprnka, four weeks in Aspen became an immersive summer of classical guitar study, artistic discovery, and connection. With support from the Anthony Quinn Foundation, she joined a small group of talented guitarists for an intensive experience alongside some of the world's leading classical guitarists.

Through masterclasses, private lessons, and both small and large ensembles, Paloma had the opportunity to learn directly from accomplished teachers while also drawing inspiration from her peers. Multiple performances throughout Aspen allowed her to put that learning into practice and grow as both a musician and performer.

Just as meaningful were the friendships and connections Paloma made during the program. Surrounded by musicians who shared her passion and dedication, she discovered new sources of inspiration that she expects will continue to influence her artistry long after the summer ends.

"The friends, connections, and new inspirations I have found here in Aspen have had a meaningful and lasting impact on my musicianship and artistry."

Made possible through an Anthony Quinn Foundation Music Scholarship, Paloma's summer in Aspen gave her the opportunity to deepen her classical guitar training, expand her artistic community, and continue developing her voice as a young musician.
