Liam De Rosa Begins Freshman Year at Eastman School of Music
Liam (AQF ‘24) spent his summer at two renowned music festivals before embarking on his freshman year at the Eastman School of Music.
This summer, Liam De Rosa participated in two prestigious festivals—the Ascent International Viola Festival in Ohio and the Bowdoin International Music Festival in Maine—before beginning his freshman year at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY.
At Ascent, Liam studied with Professor Masumi Rostad, now his professor at Eastman, and at Bowdoin, he trained with Professor Carol Rodland of Juilliard. Both experiences provided invaluable opportunities to strengthen his artistry as a soloist and chamber musician, while also connecting with fellow musicians and discovering new corners of the country.
Liam has now officially started his studies at Eastman, excited to continue developing his craft and to immerse himself in the vibrant musical community there.
We congratulate Liam on these wonderful milestones and look forward to following his journey at Eastman!
