Reese Dailey Continues to Shine in Dance and Academics
This year has brought exciting new roles and growth for Reese (AQF ‘23), who continues to balance her love of dance with her academic goals.
Since receiving her scholarship from the Anthony Quinn Foundation, Reese Dailey has continued to pursue her passion for dance with determination and artistry. Over the past year, she has been based in New York City, where she immersed herself in intensive training, built meaningful professional connections, and performed in a variety of creative projects that have contributed to her artistic growth.
In the winter of 2024, Reese booked her first professional dance role in Winter in the Air in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina—an experience she describes as unforgettable, performing on stage every night alongside fellow dedicated performers. She also completed her second year at the Rockettes Conservatory, further refining her technique and deepening her understanding of precision dance.
Most recently, Reese received the exciting news that she has been cast in Sunkicks at Suncoast Broadway in Florida, where she will spend the upcoming holiday season performing in a precision-style production.
Alongside her professional pursuits, Reese is also a full-time online student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), diligently working toward her degree. Balancing academics with a growing dance career has been both challenging and rewarding, and she is proud of her progress on both fronts.,
“Thank you again to the Anthony Quinn Foundation for believing in me and investing in my artistic and academic journey. Your support has opened doors, fueled my growth, and empowered me to take steps toward a future I’ve always dreamed of.”
We celebrate Reese’s many accomplishments and look forward to seeing the next steps in her artistic and academic journey.
