Foster Woodberry

2026 Dance Scholarship Recipient

Foster Woodberry is a 16-year-old dancer from Concord, Massachusetts, whose work centers on community, collaboration, and inclusivity. They are drawn to movement as a shared language, creating work that encourages interaction and exchange between performers and audiences.

Their practice blends influences from multiple dance styles, reflecting a commitment to developing a personal movement vocabulary. As both a dancer and emerging choreographer, Foster explores how different techniques can coexist, shaping work that is both expressive and grounded in lived experience.

Foster aims to continue growing as a performer and choreographer while creating spaces that prioritize belonging and creative dialogue. The AQF scholarship will support their development as they attend Kinetic Visioning at Jacob’s Pillow, where they will deepen their practice through collaboration, composition, and engagement with a diverse community of artists.
