Evan is a senior at W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax, VA. Only three years ago, he was an aspiring actor with dreams of gracing the stages of Broadway. However, a fortuitous series of connections and opportunities unexpectedly propelled him into the captivating realm of classical music. Evan now finds it unimaginable to picture his life without the presence of the clarinet, which has bestowed upon him not only cherished friendships but also esteemed role models, shaping his very perception of the world.
As a member of the National Symphony Orchestra Youth Fellowship, Evan has had the privilege of surrounding himself with exceptional musicians in his local vicinity over the past three years. The Fellowship has been a constant source of inspiration, as his fellow musicians not only exhibit extraordinary technical prowess on their instruments but also radiate a profound love for music and life as a whole.
Motivated by this infectious enthusiasm, Evan took the decision to apply for the esteemed Domaine Forget de Charlevoix festival situated in Quebec, Canada. By participating in the Domaine Forget, Evan aspires to embark on a transformative journey, delving into an entirely new dimension of musical proficiency and artistic expression.
