Reese Dailey, Dancing Toward Her Dreams in New York City
Since receiving her Anthony Quinn Foundation scholarship in 2023 for the Verdon Fosse Legacy® Summer Intensive, Reese Dailey’s journey has been extraordinary. After completing high school at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she received top-tier dance training and performance experience, Reese took a bold step and moved to New York City in June.
The Verdon Fosse Legacy® experience, made possible by the Anthony Quinn Foundation, solidified Reese’s dream of pursuing a dance career in the city. Since relocating, she has been training intensively and even auditioned for the Rockettes, a milestone that surpassed her expectations. Reese was invited to their conservatory this summer and continues to work toward her goal of joining the iconic group. She also spent another summer with the Verdon Fosse Legacy®, performing Fosse’s iconic choreography, which she cherished deeply.
Alongside her dance career, Reese is furthering her education by taking online courses with UNC Greensboro. Grateful for the opportunities provided by the Anthony Quinn Foundation, she credits much of her success to the experiences it has afforded her: “Endless thanks to you all for playing a part in making my dreams come true!”
