Olesia Jones at Ox-Bow School of Art
Olesia (AQF '24) tells us about her experience with the Ox-Bow courses she took and how it has influenced her artistic journey.
"I received the Anthony Quinn Foundation Visual Arts Scholarship in 2024 and applied this scholarship to two courses at the Oxbow 2024 summer sessions for digital worldbuilding and traditional painting. I was able to work with teachers in the field and gain knowledge with students of all ages and backgrounds. I could also make connections between contrasting art forms with these two classes. The experiences and teaching I received there allowed me an early start in my education before attending the Maryland Institute College of Art. Thank you for this amazing opportunity!”
