Harley, a passionate performer since the age of seven, discovered her true calling at eleven when she attended her first Broadway show, Wicked. The experience left her in awe, captivated by the music, dancing, and vocals. However, it was the profound emotional impact and the ability of the actors to engage the audience that truly resonated with her. From that moment on, Harley knew that she wanted to be on stage, evoking similar emotions and transporting audiences into captivating stories and characters.
Driven by her love for theater, Harley actively pursues her goals in various ways. She auditions and performs in multiple musicals each year, participates in summer camps and local theater classes, and takes dance, voice, and piano lessons to enhance her skills. In addition, she actively contributes to her theater community, serving as the Teen Board Theater President and volunteering for summer theater camps. Her dedication extends beyond the stage, as she enjoys painting, playing board and role-playing games, and creating special effects props.
Harley's ultimate aspiration is to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Musical Theater at a university and continue performing. Her dream is to secure a role on Broadway. The Anthony Quinn Foundation Scholarship has granted her the opportunity to attend the Florida State University Summer Intensive for Musical Theater, to further her education and prepare for competitive college programs. This renowned program for high school students offers professional-level training in dance, voice, and acting, providing valuable experience and readiness for the next step in her theatrical journey.
