2020 Dance Scholarship Recipient

Devin's love for dance has evolved from a childhood enjoyment to a deeper exploration and creative endeavor. He now dances to discover and innovate, seeking to bring inspiration to others while finding inspiration himself. Dance allows him to connect with the world through movement, shaping his identity and soul. However, Devin's current small studio limits his exposure to modern dance styles and techniques, prompting him to apply for the Complexions Academy Summer Intensive.

He envisions this opportunity as a means to improve as both a dancer and an individual, forging connections with talented peers and instructors whom he can collaborate with in the future. Devin believes that summer intensives offer invaluable training and growth experiences, having previously benefited from ballet-focused intensives. Attending the Complexions Academy Summer Intensive would enable him to delve further into modern dance, an area he has yet to explore extensively.
