Liam (AQF '24) shares his string quartet workshop experience at Tanglewood and how it has deeply influenced his artistic journey:
"The Boston University Tanglewood Institute String Quartet Workshop has deeply influenced my artistic journey, particularly as a chamber musician. There, working with Peter Zazofsky, the entire Arneis Quartet, and Sergey Antonov in masterclasses and coachings (as well as my colleagues and friends in my quartets and the workshop as a whole), has deepened my understanding of the three-way connection between teaching, performing, and learning, and how we can use this connection in a way that is helpful and relevant to twenty-first century classical music.
